The Bedford 20-5295 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 25D150 throat seal repair kit for Xtreme and XP Xtreme 115cc lowers. It contains the male and female throat glands, PTFE v-packings and the wave spring that keeps the stack loaded as the packings wear.

The throat is the first seal to fail on most lowers because it works against the displacement rod on every stroke with material on one side and atmosphere on the other. Replacing the throat stack on its own is the quickest route back into service when the piston side still checks out.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Fluid weeping or running down the displacement rod where it enters the throat
  • Wet cup filling with sprayed material rather than staying clean
  • Having to retorque the throat nut repeatedly to hold back a leak
  • PTFE packings that have flattened, glazed or extruded at inspection
