The Bedford 20-5294 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 25D243 complete repair kit for Xtreme and XP Xtreme 115cc lowers, Series G and older. It carries the full set of PTFE throat and piston packings along with the glands, o-rings and foot valve spring needed for a complete wet-end rebuild.

PTFE packings are specified where chemical resistance and higher operating temperatures matter more than abrasion life, which covers most protective coating, tank lining and industrial finishing work. Rebuilding the lower in one pass with a full kit avoids the repeat teardown that follows replacing only the section that failed first. Series H and newer lowers use Graco 273268 instead.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Fluid leaking past the throat area and running down the outside of the cylinder
  • Pressure that will not build or hold, pointing to piston packing wear or a failed foot valve
  • Pump cycling faster on one stroke than the other under steady demand
  • Packings that have taken a set, glazed or extruded when the lower is opened up
