The Bedford 16-4088 is a compatible replacement for Titan part 441-234 — the piston seal used in Titan spray equipment. This seal contains working pressure at a joint where a static face seal is not enough, sealing against a machined surface every cycle.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Hardened or nicked sealing lips found at teardown
  • Pressure loss that tightening does not cure
  • Renewed whenever the assembly is opened for service
  • Fluid weeping past the seal under pressure
