The Bedford 9-1996 is a compatible replacement for Airlessco part 331-027 — the ball used in Airlessco spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with Airlessco AllPro 400 E, Airlessco AllPro 500 E, Airlessco AllPro 510 E, Airlessco AllPro 600 E, Airlessco AllPro 610 E, Airlessco AllPro 710 E and other compatible equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
