The Bedford 9-153 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 101-917 and 101917, a ball for Graco spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with Graco 1.5:1 Monark, 10:1 Monark, 10:1 President, 2:1 Monark, 2:1 Standard, 3:1 President and other Graco equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
