The Bedford 43-1252 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 102418 and 102-418 — the packing used in Graco spray equipment. Packings are the stacked seal rings that ride the piston rod in the pump's fluid section, containing working pressure while the rod cycles through them thousands of times an hour. They are the pump's primary wear item.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Pressure loss from worn packing surfaces
  • Fluid climbing the rod or dripping from the throat area
  • Pump cycling faster than normal to hold pressure
  • Scheduled repack on high-use equipment
