The Bedford 9-3127 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 116327 and 116-327 — the ceramic ball used in Graco spray equipment. This ceramic ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Ceramic shrugs off corrosion and abrasion, which makes it a common upgrade path for waterborne and aggressive materials. Compatible with Graco GMax 5900, GMAX 5900 Ironman (2014+), GMAX II 5900 (2014+), TexSpray 5900 HD (2014+), TexSpray Mark V, TexSpray Mark V (2014+) and other Graco equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
