The Bedford 16-1605 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 160644 and 160-644, a flat packing for Graco spray equipment. Packings are the stacked seal rings that ride the piston rod in the pump's fluid section, containing working pressure while the rod cycles through them thousands of times an hour. They are the pump's primary wear item.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Fluid climbing the rod or dripping from the throat area
  • Pump cycling faster than normal to hold pressure
