The Bedford 18-383 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 164713 and 164-713, a packing retainer for Graco spray equipment. Retaining rings snap into a machined groove and give components a hard axial stop — they are what keeps valve internals and pins from walking out of their bores under vibration. Compatible with Graco EH 333.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Ring sprung or distorted during a previous removal
  • Corrosion weakening the ring's grip in its groove
  • Components shifting axially in their bore
  • Renewed whenever the assembly is opened — they are one-use parts in practice
