The Bedford 9-1593 is a compatible replacement for HERO part 11A-5S — the ball used in HERO spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with HERO 300 GSD, 300 S, 300 SL, 330 SEL, 330 SES, 350 SE and other HERO equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly

Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance.
