The Bedford 17-1705 is a compatible replacement for HERO part 11A-6, an outgo ball cage for HERO spray equipment. The ball cage surrounds the outlet valve ball, keeping its lift and return centered over the seat so the valve closes cleanly on every stroke instead of letting the ball wander off-line. Compatible with HERO 1000 MD, 1100 MD, 300 GSD, 300 S, 300 SL, 330 SEL and other HERO equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Ball seating off-center as the cage wears
  • Chatter or rattle from a ball with too much play
  • Impact wear visible inside the cage at teardown
  • Renewed with ball and seat during a valve rebuild
