The Bedford 55-891 is a 2-pack of gun filters supplied as a direct-fit replacement for Titan 89957. Gun filters install in the airless spray gun handle to catch contaminants before the material reaches the tip, protecting the tip from premature wear and clogging.

On Titan airless equipment, a clogged or damaged gun/tip filter typically shows up as pressure spikes, an irregular spray pattern, or a partial tip blockage during the job.

Common reasons these filters are replaced:

  • Pressure spikes at the gun caused by a clogged filter element
  • Irregular spray pattern, tails, or fingering during a clean job
  • Visibly torn or collapsed mesh observed during filter inspection
