The Bedford 9-2763 is a compatible replacement for Wagner part 509583 — the ball used in Wagner spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with Wagner EPX 2155, Wagner EPX 2255, Wagner GPX 750, Wagner GPX 80, Wagner ProSpray 22, Wagner SW419 (EPX-style) and other compatible equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
