The Bedford 9-1049 is a compatible replacement for Wagner 93635 — the 6mm carbide ball used in Wagner airless pump valves. This small tungsten-carbide ball is the moving element of the check valve: it lifts off its seat on each pump stroke to let paint through, then reseats to hold pressure. Carbide stands up to constant impact and abrasive coatings far longer than steel. Compatible with Wagner SprayTech 1075, 1100 S, 1200 S, Titan ED 655 Plus, and other models listed in the Compatible Equipment section below.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
  • Pitting from abrasive coatings such as block filler or elastomerics
  • Replaced together with its valve seat during a fluid-section rebuild
