The Bedford 9-2591 is a compatible replacement for Wagner part 9841502, a ball for Wagner spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with Wagner 1000 SE, Wagner 1025, Wagner 3500 (Piston series), Wagner 4300 G, Wagner 4320, Wagner 500 SE and other compatible equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
