The Bedford 20-5123 is a compatible replacement for the WIWA 0658876 cuff set, the fluid section packing rings in alternating black PTFE and leather. It is one of the sub-kits inside the Bedford 20-5118 repair/packing kit and is sold separately for targeted repairs.

The PTFE rings stand up to solvents and abrasive coatings, while the leather rings keep their seal as the pump strokes. When the set wears, coating bypasses the packings and the pump loses pressure.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Pump will not hold pressure when the gun is closed
  • Coating bypassing the packings, with falling spray pressure
  • Packing rings glazed, cut or worn thin
  • Scheduled fluid section rebuild
