The Bedford 9-1819 is a compatible replacement for Glidden part 115-022 — the ball used in Glidden spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with Glidden ICI ProSpray 1000, Glidden ICI ProSpray 1300, Glidden ICI ProSpray 808, Glidden ICI ProStripe 1300, Airlessco 3100, Airlessco 3100 GD and other compatible equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
