The Bedford 43-1540 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 108-690 and 108690 — the u-cup seal used in Graco spray equipment. A U-cup is a lip seal shaped like an open channel: system pressure spreads its lips against the rod and bore, so the seal actually tightens as pressure climbs. Compatible with Graco EM 5000, Graco EuroLiner Trassar 8, Graco GM 10 000, Graco GM 10000, Graco GM 3012, Graco GM 5000 and other compatible equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Renewed whenever the assembly is opened for service
  • Fluid weeping past the seal under pressure
  • Hardened or nicked sealing lips found at teardown
  • Pressure loss that tightening does not cure
