The Bedford 43-828 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 170-709 and 170709 — the poppet used in Graco spray equipment fluid valves. A poppet is the small moving valve element that lifts off its seat to let fluid or air pass, then reseats to shut flow off cleanly; once its sealing face wears, the valve can no longer close positively.

Common reasons for replacement:
