The Bedford 19-1289 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 178938 and 178-938, a ball stop pin for Graco spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with Graco EM 590, Graco Fuller OBrien Pro 701, Graco GM 3500, Graco LineLazer 3500, Graco LoPro 1000, Graco Super Nova 700 and other compatible equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
