The Bedford 18-1290 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 180073 and 820463, a female gland for Graco spray equipment. The female gland is the cupped ring that seats one end of the V-packing stack in the pump's fluid section; paired with its male counterpart it keeps the packings compressed so they seal around the piston rod under pressure. Compatible with Graco 190 Classic, 190ES Plus, 290 Classic, 290ES Plus, 390, 390 Classic and other Graco equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Fluid leaking past the packings even after tightening
  • Pressure drop from a packing stack that no longer seats squarely
  • Grooving or corrosion on the gland face after long service
  • Renewed along with new packings during a pump repack
