The Bedford 18-1846 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 186652 and 186-652, a backup washer for Graco spray equipment. A backup washer sits behind a seal or O-ring and gives it a rigid shoulder, preventing the softer seal from extruding into the clearance gap under pressure. Compatible with Graco 190 Classic, Graco 190 ES Plus, Graco 210 ES Plus, Graco 290 Classic, Graco 390 Classic, Graco 395 st Pro and other compatible equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Adjacent seal or O-ring failing early from extrusion
  • Visible deformation or cupping of the washer
  • Pressure weep past a seal the washer should support
  • Renewed together with the seal it backs
