The Bedford 18-2953 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 244878 and 244-878, a female gland for Graco spray equipment. The female gland is the cupped ring that seats one end of the V-packing stack in the pump's fluid section; paired with its male counterpart it keeps the packings compressed so they seal around the piston rod under pressure. Sold individually, so you can order exactly the quantity a service job needs. Compatible with Graco Xtreme 220cc (900).

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Pressure drop from a packing stack that no longer seats squarely
  • Grooving or corrosion on the gland face after long service
  • Renewed along with new packings during a pump repack
  • Fluid leaking past the packings even after tightening
