The Bedford 9-2948 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 244-898 and 244898, a ball for Graco spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Sold individually, so you can order exactly the quantity a service job needs. Compatible with Graco Xtreme 220cc (900), Xtreme 250cc (1045), and Xtreme 290cc (1200).

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
