The Bedford 20-5329 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 25D233 complete repair kit for Xtreme and XP Xtreme 115cc lowers, Series G and older. It supplies the full set of leather and UHMWPE throat and piston packings together with the glands, o-rings and foot valve spring for a complete wet-end rebuild.

The leather and UHMWPE stack is the abrasion package, specified for high-solids and heavily filled materials that wear PTFE packings prematurely. Leather packings are soaked in oil before assembly and conform to the rod as they break in, which is what gives this combination its service life in abrasive duty. Series H and newer lowers use Graco 273267 instead.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Fluid leaking past the throat area after extended service on abrasive or high-solids material
  • Loss of pressure on the downstroke as piston packings lose their seal against the cylinder wall
  • Scoring or a visible wear band on the displacement rod at the throat
  • Hardened, glazed or cracked leather packings found at teardown
