The Bedford 17-1894 is a compatible replacement for Airlessco 187-022 and Graco 867711 — the ball stop used in Graco spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with Airlessco 3600, Airlessco 3600 SL, Airlessco 4100, Airlessco 4100 SL, Airlessco 5100, Airlessco 5100 SL and other compatible equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
