The Bedford 9-1183 is a compatible replacement for Titan/Speeflo 138-225 and Wagner 509710 — the ss ball used in Titan spray equipment. This stainless-steel ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Stainless resists corrosion from waterborne coatings and cleanup solvents. Compatible with Titan Advantage GPX 165, Titan Advantage GPX 220, Titan Atlas 30:1, Titan Atlas III, Titan Commander 60:1, Titan Ensign 12:1 and other compatible equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
