The Bedford 9-3281 is a compatible replacement for Titan part 288-011, a ceramic ball for Titan spray equipment. This ceramic ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Ceramic shrugs off corrosion and abrasion, which makes it a common upgrade path for waterborne and aggressive materials. Compatible with Titan PowrTex 1200 SF and Speeflo PowrTex 1200 SF.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
