The Bedford 9-2815 is a compatible replacement for Titan part 800-242, a ball for Titan spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump's fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with Titan 1140 ix, 740 i Epic, 740 ix, 740 ix Digital, 840 ix, Epic 1140 i and other Titan equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
  • Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
  • Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
  • Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
