The Bedford 21-2973 is a compatible replacement for Wagner part 551511 — the packing insertion tool used in Wagner spray equipment. Packings are the stacked seal rings that ride the piston rod in the pump's fluid section, containing working pressure while the rod cycles through them thousands of times an hour. They are the pump's primary wear item. Compatible with Wagner EPX 2355, Wagner SW726 (EPX-style), Sherwin Williams SW726 (EPX-style), Titan Advantage 600, and Titan Advantage GPX 85.
