The Bedford 18-1368 is a compatible replacement for Wagner/Amspray part 9105 — the male adapter used in Wagner spray equipment. The male adapter sits at the end of the packing set in the pump's fluid section, seating the packings squarely so they seal against the piston rod and cylinder wall. Worn adapters let the stack shift, and no amount of packing-nut tightening will hold pressure once that happens.
