The Bedford 20-5124 is a compatible replacement for the WIWA 0658877 packing ring set for the female gland, built from alternating black PTFE and leather rings. It is one of the sub-kits inside the Bedford 20-5118 repair/packing kit and is sold separately for targeted repairs.

The gland packing seals the fluid section where it meets the moving parts of the pump. Once the rings wear, coating works its way out at the gland and tightening the gland nut stops helping.

Common reasons for replacement:

  • Coating leaking at the gland or into the wet cup
  • Gland nut needing repeated tightening to stop a leak
  • Packing rings glazed, cut or hardened
  • Scheduled fluid section rebuild

Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance. Compatible WIWA equipment models are listed in the Compatible Equipment section below, where available.
